In November, I was hospitalized for a sudden health issue. It's taken a month of daily medical care and a lot of rest to recover. Regrettably, I had to bow out of several performances, including shows at Roswell PAC, Peacock PAC, the Rock House, and a concert with the Atlanta Pops Orchestra. I was very much looking forward to each of these performances and it was a difficult decision to cancel, but unavoidable (and also doctor's orders). I was so sorry to miss these shows. As performers, we hate to disappoint, hate to inconvenience, and always hope our audiences understand when stuff happens.
I'm grateful to my healthcare team, to my wonderful colleagues who have covered for me so I could heal without stress, and to everyone who sent prayers, get-well wishes and concern throughout the past month. Thank you so much for every good thought! I'm looking forward to getting back to the music-making soon.
