Karla appointed Artist-in-Residence in Vocal Jazz at Kennesaw State University

I’m excited to announce my recent appointment with the School of Music at Kennesaw State University, joining that department’s  outstanding Jazz Studies area as Artist-in-Residence teaching Vocal Jazz this fall.

Nationally recognized for innovation, international education and more, and awarded by the Carnegie Foundation for community engagement, KSU is the third-largest university in Georgia and growing, and its Jazz Studies area features an exceptional group of musicians. The program is growing under the dynamic leadership of director Sam Skelton and School of Music director Dr. Stephen Plate. I am so excited to join in with them to work with vocal students looking to lean into jazz, and to be a part of this forward-thinking institution! KSU Owls, I appreciate the welcome!
